Abdul Qadir Patel ( (ウルドゥー語:عبدالقادر پٹیل) ; born 8 August 1968) is a Pakistani politician who represented the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the National Assembly of Pakistan until June 2013. At the age of 25 he became the youngest parliamentarian in Pakistan's history.〔(Abdul Qadir Patel's profile on PILDAT )〕 He currently chairs the Standing Committee on the Interior in the National Assembly of Pakistan.〔(Abdul Qadir Patel Profile ).〕 ==Early life and education== Patel was born in Memon Society Hospital in Lyari Town〔Autobiography of Hussain Patel edited by Ameer Ahmed and Abeer Shah, pages 257-260〕 in a prominent Kutchi family in Karachi on 8 August 1968. He is the eldest child of the former district chairman of Keamari Town, Hussain Patel. He started working at the age of fifteen at a tire repair shop. He attended K.P.T secondary school in Keamari Town, Karachi, before gaining his higher education from Urdu college. In 1991 he obtained his B.A. degree from Federal Urdu University where he served as president of Sindh People's Youth, a student wing of Pakistan Peoples Party.
